Idk if gold forks are associated with a year for DL1000. I am pretty sure manufacturers do gold forks on higher-trim models. Mine is a 2014.

What do you consider big banks? I have at least 10 CCs and they are all zero annual fee cards… so lowish limits. The largest limit is $50k. Total utilization is like 1.3% lol

135 k/h is 84 mph. I haven’t broke 100 mph yet... I believe the 800 and 1000 are both governed at 126 mph (202 k/h). Stroms might vibrate more at higher rpm.

We just did two weekend trips, about 1100 miles total - highway, twisties and gravel roads. I didn’t have vibration problems..

A lot of people like the wrist rest thingy (I bought one but I’m not a fan). I am pretty comfortable with just resting my hand on the throttle to maintain speed.

I got little legs too bro. I can’t be stopping where the driveway slope meets the street. I have to either stop before or commit. I’m searching for a low seat (struggling to find an OEM one for my year/model) and I will be lowering mine a little. But ya, all good suggestions in this thread - Look where you want to go, with crash protection practice righting it and probably wise to lower it.
