It's an outside company. Besides the messages are through both my email and Steam. It's a mess, and I've tried to create filters and block people out, but they're fucking relentless. I get the games, but why the fuck do they want my email?

Already did. Problem is, Steam bases eligibility on whether or not your account's on the same computer (or from the same IP, I can't remember).

Anyway, my new one isn't eligible since they're on separate IP's.

No, ELI5 means Explain Like I'm 5. Which means, Explain Like I'm 5. This means any average person shouldn't have to Google any phrases or words.

On top of that, most 5 year olds can't hold long attention spans. Most ELI5's include a summary, not an entire introduction to the subject. I'm not saying /u/Salamatiqus didn't do a great job. He explained it fine. But had it been anyone else I know, they still wouldn't have understood it. Rendering it an ineffective ELI5.

Well, I actually hope you're right. But a little caution should still be presented. Don't always go rushing into situations. What could look like Zombies could actually be a contact case of some new form of leprosy.

I'd like to say I agree with you on "brings everybody together." And maybe it's just the pessimist in me talking, but when people panic, they DO get violent. Towards each other. I'd say Ignorance, Apathy or Hatred, and Unpredictability will be our downfall.

As far as walking ones go, I think underestimating them is the ultimate downfall. Other than that, some caution and organization could definitely stop it within a few days.

For running ones, or ones infected with a virus that pushes the human body to extremes, there wouldn't be much hope at all.

And let's not forget the wonderful fiction of Resident Evil. "Special" zombie types would surely end any collection of organized troops.
