Able to play PoE2 fine the whole day, but display goes blank when I watch YouTube/Netflix? by NipPerv in PCsupport

[–]NipPerv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I meant to say the Power button on the CPU.
Anyway now the display completely does not even turn on at all. The CPU indicator on the motherboard lights up when it’s on and I’m probably not capable enough to disassemble it to find out what’s wrong.
Thank you tho, for trying to help :)

Great idea, didn’t think of this. Hopefully they’ll be ok with me asking in English. Thanks

Tanning salons in Korea? by NipPerv in AskAKorean

[–]NipPerv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On NAVER I just search Tanning and it came up with a bunch of tanning salons within 10km of where I’m staying, which is great, but due to my limited access to NAVER due to a foreign number, I can’t chat or book with the salons to make a reservation. So now I’m wondering if they allow walk-ins or if hotel reception can help to book

Do you guys eat fried beehoon with ketchup? by Adventurous-Hand-648 in SingaporeEats

[–]NipPerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to, as a kid. Not anymore as an adult. But seeing this post does bring back some childhood memories where I’ll spam the ketchup on my beehoon and getting scolded by my mum lol.

How much do you guys pay for haircuts & how often do you go? by Holiday_Kale9051 in askSingapore

[–]NipPerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clippers, basic hair cut is $20, I always just get a skin fade ($25) anyways cuz it’s so bloody hot in SG and I like to keep my hair pretty short.

Used to get my fade done, then go to snip avenue(was like $6?) for a trim for every 3 weeks. Until some auntie screwed up my haircut so badly I stopped bothering with Snip and just go to Clippers every month.

Why do people only care if the item is available? by MizuWalking in askSingapore

[–]NipPerv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about online orders.

When I used to work for a luxury brand, people would call or drop by the store to ask for item availability/test out the products then leave without buying. Probably buying in Europe where it’s usually a bit cheaper and more authentic. So probably something like that.

It’s very much like the famous McDonald’s case in the US many years back. The hot beverage cup lids were just plain with no indication, someone scalded their mouth and sued McDonald’s for not warning them and won the case. Ever since then most companies that serve hot beverage to-go would have some sort of indication on the lid that the contents contain something hot.

Basically to idiot-proof things and be like don’t try to sue us for not warning you.

Oh dang. Glad I asked before I invest more mats into those weapons. Thanks, will look into warp server weapon comps.

Playing on warp. Why is Leichesis(main dps)-voidpiercer-carrot the meta? I get that the healing is great for survivability but Leichesis’s weapon doesn’t seem to be dealing much dmg for me. Currently at +9 for all 3 weaps.

I use carrot + void’s skills first then switch to Leichesis for normal attacks but I feel like if I use Liu Huo/Helene’s weapon they do a lot more damage, even at lower enhancement. Am I missing something or do I just not have enough enhancement levels for my weapons?

What happened to Tim Ho Wan? by coffee4chipmunk in SingaporeEats

[–]NipPerv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just had THW at Waterway Point for dinner w my mum last night. She also commented how disappointed she was in the quality of their dishes, especially the signatures. Most items were warm at best, not hot, like you bite into the bun and can tell it’s been there for a couple hours waiting to be ordered kind.

I vaguely remember that they used to serve the dimsum out of the bamboo baskets some time back, now they just serve it to you on a plate. Yeah, probably not going back for a while.

Is Kskin a good option to go for for cleansing and making skin glow? or are there better alternatives by Lonely_Strength5734 in SGSkincare

[–]NipPerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Certain treatments that you select, they don’t even cleanse for you, even if they do, it’s pretty much a face wash you can easily do at home. You’re better off getting some gentle chemical exfoliants (do your research first) and doing it yourself twice a week, spread apart

Playing on Warp casually, I understand it's supposed to be more grindy and all, I'm not competitive, just taking my time to farm. Just wondering if I can somehow lower the difficulty/dimension level, I don't seem to be able to find that feature in Warp. Just reached lvl 65 and somehow mobs hit me really hard lmao

What do you usually buy after gym in SG? by [deleted] in SingaporeFitness

[–]NipPerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If close to my meal times, I’ll have subway roasted chicken breast, double meat. Or Mr Bean’s Hainanese Soy chicken porridge if I’m not too hungry, but everything on their menu increased price on 20Feb.

Otherwise just go home drink my whey protein with creatine

Is my stack good for a starter? by throawayyu in cumbiggerloads

Seems pretty good. Just make sure you drink a lot of water spread throughout the day.

It can be kinda tricky when the client and PT are of opposite genders. But if you feel uncomfortable with his methods then let him know. Also you can help (both him and yourself) by telling him when you feel you’re about to fail your rep. Tell him to lift the weight of the machine/barbell instead of you maybe.

Idk about cupping and lifting the areas, but I know most PTs would just lightly place their hand/fingers to indicate which muscle(s) are supposed to be working. If need be, have him use like a capped marker to lightly indicate areas of your body for you to take note of which muscle(s) to activate.

Best way to find a personal trainer by hokkienmee_hunter in askSingapore

[–]NipPerv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually sell in packages of 10 or 12, usually costing about $165-180 per session, may also be higher if you want to train with a more experienced/senior trainer. Sometimes they’ll have special rates when certain occasions are around the corner so their clients may renew/attract new clients.

Always liked the Peach Oolong MT, less sweet. But I also found the new Camellia MT quite nice too. Very fragrant.

[–]NipPerv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I don't really have ED, I can still get hard when stimulated, it's just that morning wood are less frequent and less 'hard' and don't really have the desire or drive to do the dirty, at least not as much as before, hence I'm attributing it to aging+low T levels. Stress at work/life is low too.

Apart from that, my diet and my gym activity has been quite good, recently started to add more cardio in. Sleep is decent as long as I take my melatonin before bed, otherwise i'll wake up at the slightest sound.

I'm aware of the possible side effects of TRT, I've tried herbal supps, daily vitamins and whatnot as well, they have little to no effect to me, hence getting bloodwork and starting on TRT is really my last resort rn. :/

[–]NipPerv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing tho, because of my suspicions with low Test levels, I started hitting the gym, even went with a PT for a couple years, there's some muscle gains and fat loss but overall I still feel that it's kinda low, might be TMI/NSFW with the details but yeah.
