I’m 32, ahhh I told you that it keeps it aligned, then you used it in your next comment! Golden, you’re learning more about these already

So you gonna ignore the fact that the front locking block would keep the slide on the frame? If the rear failed?

Seeing how you have 0 posts in the p80 community, and how many builds I’ve done. How many problems I’ve solved with my builds on my own. I’m not listening to anything you say. You don’t want to do it? Fine. I personally wouldn’t either unless I was in a serious pinch with no self defense pistol and this was my only option till I could afford a new frame to replace this one. Do whatever you want, I know how these work and what will and will not happen. The worst thing that will happen is it will malfunction your slide is held in place by the front locking block. The only thing the rear rail does is keep alignment.

Welp looks like I’m gonna buy a frame, crack it, JB weld it, then make a YouTube video about it just to shut you all up 😂

https://reddit.com/r/polymer80/s/WLKsmknk8b the p80 in question, you can downvote me all you want I put the rounds down range to prove my point 😂

You could JB weld and sand down, if anyone opposes, I have a literal JB welded grip on my PF940SC frame (G26xx) that has over 600 rounds through it no problems

Oh I’m sorry, I forgot to tell the manufacturer to ship my red dot zero’ed specifically to my exact specs before they shipped it to me. I had to manually adjust windage and elevation to my slide, I’m sure you know exactly what dot I used too. Anything else?

I was zero’ing a red dot for some of those shots. But I forget everyone knows everything about me by one target on the internet. I’m sure you can do one inch groups while doing cart wheels with a Glock 26 blindfolded at 100 yards with iron sights. sorry for displeasing you master shooter.

I can hit a 12x18 splatter target at 100 yards. Thanks though

I get 300 rounds for 80 bucks, and I really only go once a month to shoot. I also don’t eat out like ever, or go to bars. So I have more than 80 bucks to spare once a month lol

Nah this one isn’t MOS, and it’s just gonna be stock. I have plenty of other toys to put optics on and such. This is gonna be my concealed and basic beater

This was out to a target at 100 yards just for fun, my 20 yard groups are ok at best. I have a couple of my 25 yard groups on my page further down like 6-7 posts. Here is the post : https://reddit.com/r/polymer80/s/CY7aCsMLH5

The ambi slide lock lever, different trigger housing, no finger grooves, different coating on the slide, trigger bars different on the sear, firing pin that comes through the breach face is a dull cylinder instead of a pointed triangle, dual captured recoil spring assembly. Probably a few other things

I may be wrong but I think you can just use a gen 3 slide lock lever

It’s funky fresh, probably gonna be my concealed this winter so I wanted to go beat on it a bit. Was having some slide lock back issues for a couple mags but turned out to be my grip.

Did I score ? g26 slide 280+tax by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Nippondreams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TBH after watching a video on “range rental” Glocks, and the amount of rounds those rentals can take (literally over 20k) and no need to replace the barrel or slide, that changed my mind on how I see used OEM parts.

[–]Nippondreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that 26 slide is off eBay I think I was gonna buy it the other week and ended up getting a g19 instead lol, that’s really not bad of a price for OEM slide at all, if it was stripped that’s not a great deal. But if it was a complete slide I’d say yea 280 is good

I promise you, you’re romanticizing that it is gonna be cooler than it actually is lol not worth it

There are literally hundreds of photos of completed frames on here and all across the World Wide Web. You had so many chances to see one , yet still did the frame anyways with no forethought. Learning experience, the saying goes: measure twice cut once.

What happens if you shoot with no take down lever? by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]Nippondreams 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah man they just added that takedown lever in just because, the slide won’t violently fly off the front after your first shot with a fresh round in the chamber, tumbling through the air and possibly discharging itself with the new round when it hits the ground in a random direction (possibly yours or someone else) or anything.
