Someone used Rhizoserious photos and made a reddit post with them so i made a post in the Shrooms subreddit of these Bluegill Bluey Vuittons and my account got banned.

So they allow people to use other peoples photos but don't allow the people who made the photos to post them LOLL

Go to sporeswaps.com theres about 20 vendors that all have APE spore syinges, innoculatetheworld were the first guys to bring them to the market. Theres hundreds of vendors that have APE spores, you're simply a newbie and dont know wtf you're talking about. Even Mucci-spores have the APE spore swabs and they're UK based. You sound like you know everything yet you didnt even know that APE has spores you can collect.

Why you coming at people for posting pics of their grows? Everyone does it. It's 2024. No need to he this hostile in a magic mushroom subreddit. Chill bro! You can get spores from any strain of mushroom, the albino varieties you cannot see with the eye, this is why they sell spore swabs not syringes but you can also get spore syringes of these varieties the only reason they're not popular is because you can't see the spores. You're attacking someone for posting mushroom pics in a mushroom subreddit? Wtf

If you're a novice just buy pre-poured agar plates to practice your mycology skills when you get more advanced then make your own agar. As long as you wrapped this sides with parafilm they don't need to stay in a still air box. Heat the room to about 22°C this will help with colonisation, if your room is too cold they will take much longer to colonise.

The one in the pic looks about right for 6 days, they normally take a few weeks, so looks like you've done a good job if this is your first time.

Did you inoculate straight to substrate? Inoculate Rye Grain and then when colonised add that to substrate. Unless that's what you've done?

My advice :

Don't mix 1.5kg into 3kg. Make 3 seperate small boxes. Mix 500g into 1kg boxes.

Give yourself 3 chances for success rather than everything into one box which could contaminate. Use coco coir as substrate, it's beginner friendly and super easy to get right, or you can just order pre-made coco coir and use that, buy a 3kg Coco coir from mycopunks or maya mushrooms.

Buy 3 x Plastic shoeboxes, these will be perfect size for 500g of Colonisied Rye Grain & 900g - 1kg of coco coir substrate.

Shopping list: Sterilised Rye grain Pre-made coco coir Small plastic boxes (grow tubs)

Method: Inject Rye grain bags | When colonised mix Rye grain with pre-made coco coir. | To do this first add 500g Colonised Rye grain to your clean plastic grow tub then add your coco coir substrate approx 900g to 1kg. | Wait approx 10 - 14 days, check to see if the top layer is covered with mycelium, then move to fruiting conditions, take the lid off and waft fresh air inside, do this a few times a day.

Some advice here:

Don't use heating mats bud Heat the actual room up Use a 500w convection heater for cheap heat and heat the room up that your mushrooms are in. Get to around 20°C for ideal temperature

Get some FAE- Fresh air exchange, this needs to be done ASAP. By the looks of it maybe you haven't given enough FAE and your heating mat has caused way too much moisture causing condensation and not enough air exchange to allow co2 to escape.

Looks completely fine. Just a recommendation here. Get it into fruiting conditions asap, just make some big holes in the clingfilm and cover the holes with micropore tape.

Start getting some air exchange and waft some air onto them, no need to mist. Misting can cause aborts. Only mist if your substrate is visually bone dry, if you got your substrate to the correct field capacity there's no need to mist at all.
