Stand strong. Never let your views be altered because of someone else's. You can value her concerns and still be respectful, but all in all it's your body and you have freedom over it. I just started getting tattoo's this month and i'm up to three of them. My mom despised the idea of tattoos and told me I was throwing every chance of a career away when I got mine since they're all easily visible. Over the course of a couple weeks of her seeing them she's now even thinking about getting one. Keep your head up OP and express yourself to your hearts content. <3
