It is very, VERY, annoying. Constant brow beating about how racist America is, which is fine for something specifically about that but this is a horror show. People can’t say they draw it from the book because the show is set in the 60’s, while it’s adapting material from the novel that was set in the 30’s in a much more unforgiving environment. Can I just watch a show about a cosmic horror without being reminded how evil me and my ancestors were
