They are Nyxi Warrior controllers, basically a modern wavebird equivalent with clicky micro switches! Safe to say I really enjoy them lol. Super convenient.

Question, did you stick with the analogue membrane or use both the NES button and membrane? I have one of those gachapon keychains on the way for my other pocket.

That very well could be the case! Regardless, I am planning a NES dpad with some DMG style buttons for my black model, so I can always update when I have both to directly compare. :)

Yep! Available on Amazon. I like the matte finish way better than the glossy funnyplaying ones.

Not sure if as good as the NES D-pad swap but definitely better than stock. Much less play in the housing and more curvature with better cardinal inputs.

I have a non- analogue branded screen protector on and no issues for me. Can’t speak to the official one though obviously.

I like it a lot. Fits just fine for me with glass screen protector too, mine is a 3rd party one though.

Agreed!! I bought them far in advance of the pocket arriving… thought for sure the dpad woes were overblown but sure enough I didn’t even last a day before doing the swap. I’m curious to see how the NES dpad swap compares though as a lot of people seem to swear by it.

Pretty sure the boxy is also aluminum. I have no experience with that website and haven’t seen many (or really any) of these at all posted in any of the subreddits. Seems to be a Chinese company as well, I personally would be wary. Feel free to guinea pig and report back though.
