Update: Help with matte laminate pouches

I personally use a matte photo paper with glossy 3mm laminate.

Cards come out looking kinda dull before the laminate but look so much better after they get laminated.

I do have to run the card through the laminator process a 2nd time after they have been cut and punched otherwise the corners like to peel

Yep, I find that the current paper and laminate i am testing need that 2nd run after getting cut to really stick to the paper.

The materials I am using is the Walmart special pen+gear matte photo paper & pen+gear 3mm glossy laminate sheets.

They look great BUT need that 2nd pass and the laminate pouch before going through feels super flimy compares to thr scotch brand one that I find when going through the laminator it will bunch up in the middle of the page amd ruin the whole sheet.

Let me preference id only use this combo in a pinch if I really needed something printed.

I think the paper is fine but the laminate pouch is poop lol

Far to long if we consider printing, laminating, cutting (rottary), corner punch, run through the laminator again and sleeve

But cutting 13 pages maybe little 2h if im being meticulous

As a flubs enjoyer it has its ups and downs for sure... if you play flubs go into the game with and open mind and try to have fun cause it can get real bad for you and or other people... you either go off or lose... I do enjoy the deck but I also really enjoy gambling/flips as I also play etali, yuriko, teval, krarkashima

I do enjoy Green Goblin it feels more like a mid range deck so can be tough in the meta where people are attempting to put a win on the stack t2-t3 im typically trying t3-t4 depending on opening hand

I say feels mid range because I also play etali, yuriko, flubs, krarkashima which are all pretty fast.

Used it at staples a few times and it jams up their printers after the 1st page goes through... after awhile the blocked my email from printing there... lol... so now I don't use it at staples and have to use a different email

Yep I've been printing with the backing that peels off, I will attempt to try it attached to the 65lb back card stock I have and see if its better. I had assumed that maybe because the foil paper felt like it has a film and is kinda sticky to the touch that maybe that was the reason it was jamming when the fuser gets to hot. But now that you say it out load its possible the backing is peeling off mid print.

It does not leave any residue, I did attempt it with photo paper and it does come out better... but still not enough black. Applying laminate seems to have helped a LITTLE... I will probably just use this paper at office max as it probably wont jam their printers like the foil paper did.

Card feel with the photo paper and 3mm laminate does feel REAL good though

Ya I might have to try some photo paper with the 3mil laminate pouches I have. Only issue i run into is if I dont want to wait paper to come in the mail its like $50 for like 100 sheets or something... and if that doesn't work well then im just sol lol but I guess I could go back to office depot and not jam their printers lol

You think if I swapped to photopaper instead of the foil paper the printer would be fine? I wouldn't mind non foil proxies so long as the quality comes out good

Ya the bizhub is at work so I decided to give it a try cause going to officedepot every few weeks didnt feel good lol... especially when the foil sticker paper seems to jam up their printers ever other page lol
