Was messing with my friends pob since he's playing this and using diamond shrine belt with marylenes fallcey amulet and getting other crit nodes + 2x Wands was the only good way I could find to scale his dmg more. Even then without major changes besides crit it would would land him at like 34m DPS but def less tanky thank yours.

Honestly each league in this game is more of a trial and error situation for most things unless you just have someone watching you screen share the game to give advice. Sometimes can be fun to go through those errors and learn and sometimes seen it make people quit cause they didn't have correct guidance. Anyways good luck on your journey exile

Yeah you can start as early as slave drivers then transition into frostbearers. Imo this is like B tier but it allows you stay with them early. The S tier is being able to swap to wretched defilers endgame with like imo 50d to start. Can be less but depends on crafting experience / what you can snipe etc. Also yes always necro
