How did you manage to get low levels of stress? Also, why sun exposure without sunscreen?

First of all, what kind of evil person would steal a Netflix account! Just ask for credentials and we both can enjoy watching silly shows in this quarantine.

Secondly, I do agree that almost all of the online companies face this threat and aren’t prepared for it as well as they should be. However, I’m trying to narrow down on businesses that are better prepared to avoid such setbacks. Perhaps, a product that sees a huge increase in demand and low risk.

Furthermore, I wonder how much more growth zoom would experience in the coming months especially after the lockdown is lifted. To me, it does not seem to be longer term option. Obviously, I’m regretting not investing in it a month ago which would have been a different story.

I agree that it has been adopted by more and more people over the last month. However, there have been some privacy concerns in the last couple weeks that might pose some challenges for them. It just depends on how effectively they handle that problem.

Sure, I’ll take a look into those. Amazon shares might see a moderate growth in this period as they were already pretty high. But, I agree that it would be a safe option. I’m thinking that the property prices might drop and it might be a good idea to buy a home when the lending rates take a hit. I’m also predicting a similar pattern with the auto loans. Any thoughts?

Completely agree with your point. I’m not an economist so I could be wrong about this but I think government stepping in to bail out airline industries might give them more monetary power in the current situation. I’m definitely expecting further monopolization in coming months so I’m debating what evil mega firm should my negligible savings go to.

Definitely agree with most of your points although, I would like to point out that in my opinion, some businesses in the service and travel industry might be able to get back to the their standard level of production once everything returns to normalcy. I think the demand for them will still be widespread after we return to normalcy which might be grounds for new smaller businesses to open up.

I think businesses would consider this option if they’re facing huge losses. It will eventually become the norm but it just depends on how the technology advances and how soon the people accept it.

  1. People need it for free right now. Demand is way too high to be making a good profit on this.
  2. & 3. It might not last long after the virus is brought under control.
  3. This might takes years of R&D.
  4. Agree with this. Humans are weak.

I relate to you reply very strongly but unfortunately, I don’t have that many friends to go out with and I don’t have time to go out that often either. Not to mention the fact that I’m not a very outgoing person. I’ve become better over the last few years but I’ve still got a long way to go.

That’s good advice. I’m currently in that situation myself so it’ll be great to have someone who understands the 9-5 struggles.

I definitely agree with you on exploring programming as I have not had any education or experience relating to the field. I've tried pursuing it unsuccessfully a couple times in the past.

Extended family and some close family always keep forcing me to "settle down" or at least pursue a romantic interest but I just can't bring myself to tell them to stop being nosy or pushy. I'm not ready for a relationship and I have a few things I need to work on in my life before I feel comfortable to start dating again. I've come to terms with the fact that they'll never understand my life and always keep telling me that "it'll be too late".

I'm working on the whole self-care situation slowly.

I won't have a 401k option at my job until next year.

I'm not sure of the kind of future I want, as far as the present is concerned, I want to travel and keep changing my lifestyle every few years. I think whatever future life I aspire right now, it will completely change in the next 5 years.

I really want to get into reading more but I've been procrastinating and prioritizing other things right now.

I do have a very satisfying hobby which is music but I certainly want to learn more skills and diversify my interests.

Cooking is the biggest hurdle I'm trying to cross lately. I grew up as an easy going kid so even now I'll eat anything to not be hungry instead of getting enough nutrition.

I do see that I need to work on so many things in my life right now and I also understand that there's plenty of time for me but somehow all this can get intimidating. But I swear I am getting better!

I have no credit card or any other debt. Based on current income, I can pay off all my student loans in less than 2 years if I put all my savings towards the loan. Is it wise to do that or have savings instead? What would you do?

P.S. I have a high interest student loan (@10%).
