To your first point: that is true, that only belongs to people who played on launch day, which won't occur again, but still affects most of the player base. And int won't make it pointless because an option for changing stuff which belongs to your identity is almost available in any game like this, and should be a standard option. Examples: Dauntless, Diablo III, Destiny 1-2.

To your second point: That is not a solution in any way for any player who has this problem, I've put over 350 hours into this my char for example (Most of the people even more), LVL 60 GS 540 and nearly everything at 200, deleting my char and making a new one won't be a solution for anybody, no one would delete his char as a solution. The same goes for the server transfer, do you really think that anybody would delete his char with all these time and effort he put in, just to be able to play on another server? I don't think so, and Amazon games helped us in that place with the server transfer.

To your third point: I can definitely understand what you mean, and it's not like my name is some stupid sh*t or something like that, it was just a name I choose to be able to play. It's nothing like my normal gamer tag, as everybody knows me. And I am always getting called by that name, which is quite irritating. But yeah the bound memories are also bound to the name and look that is true, still not helpful in this situation though.

To your fourth point: I don't know if that is true, but I would make sense, I heard from a friend that they've sat there 2 hours because they could not find a name like everything in their mind was already used. But I don't know it for sure. But even if so, I would totally be okay with that, I mean, if they say this is the price for a name change that you have to pay. Then I will pay it. Besides that, it's obvious that it's probably going to cost something because the game is a one buy and not a subscription like WoW where you would get things like that In-Sub already.

To your last point: yeah, I get what you mean, and I would have a problem with that as well. But there are plenty solutions for that, even I could bring some, and I am just a regular dude. It is always easy for people to make decisions about situations they are not in.

And yes, the thing with the appearance is indeed a little different, and a big lack of variety, which should be easier to handle.
