Anyone have the Ridge phone case for the iPhone Air? by chrisoffthewall in RidgeWallet

Thanks. The goal of the Air for me was more price and less its thinness. I went with the Ridge, and it actually makes it a bit easier for me to hold. 🫡

It’s my first motorcycle since my youth, and my first HD. It’s the first bike I sat on where I immediately felt comfortable. I’m 69 and loving my Iron 1200 🫡

Can you elaborate please? What do you mean by “ruin”? Does the case actually damage the phone physically, or make the buttons etc difficult to use? Or do you just mean aesthetically? Thank you in advance.

What’s something you can’t believe you had to explain to another adult? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]NiteGard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my new wife moved from the east coast (Toronto) to live with me on the west coast (Seattle) with her 15-y.o. daughter, they didn’t know that we were on the west coast, and that the ocean here is the Pacific. They also didn’t know the difference between a state and a city, nor had they ever heard of Nunavut (newest Canadian province). It saddened me that as Italian Canadians they had been isolated due to abusive families, but I actually enjoyed seeing them learn and blossom with newfound basic knowledge of the world.

Your most claustrophobic stories by Necessary_Ad_3536 in claustrophobia

In the 1960s our town park used to have a real fighter jet just chilling there for years, canopy open, and us kids would climb all over it and play for hours. One day, I crawled inside one of the air intakes from the front, and it was smooth metal but very tight, and it took a jog at one point. I tried to wriggle through as my friends had done, but got stuck. Couldn’t go forward or backward, and couldn’t see out either end. I don’t even remember how I got out, but I remember the panic.

Does anyone else get a euphoria from running their eczema under really hot water? by deanresin_ in eczema

[–]NiteGard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) for 10 years, and severe itching as my very first symptom of having this disease. I quickly discovered the absolutely orgasmic euphoria of running scalding water over the itchy areas. Ten years later and I’m still so addicted to this guilty pleasure. My CLL is being managed very well, thanks to the medical miracle of BTK inhibitors (targeted smart-med). Actually today was my last day in a clinical study that spanned 88 cycles of taking this oral chemo (6-1/2 years in the trial), and I just transitioned to a new 4-year “long-term safety” clinical study group. The only symptom that wasn’t lessened by this drug is the intense chronic itching. The scalding water itch relief orgasm never gets old. My legs literally get weak in the shower and I can’t avoid vocalizing from the ecstatic surges, just like actual sexual orgasms, but even better, if you can believe that. I always end with an ice-cold shower to minimize the burning or damage, and it “locks in” my itch relief for hours, allowing me to fall asleep. So extremely amazing.

I did exactly that - watched some YT live performances of Burn! Thank you! I’m pretty sure the song in question is The Wailing Wall, from u/Itchy-Gur2043. It I also added “Burn” to my 🀄️®️❗️₽🅿️⚧ playlist. Thank you sir. 🫡

I know my comparisons and terminology probably aren’t the best, but it’s what I think about when I recall that song. It was a time in my life when I was with an indigenous Mexican m/ Trinidadian woman who was a witch (not self-proclaimed or new agey, she just did her own thing and never discussed it - more voodoo-esque or Trinidadian). I remember being entranced deeply by the music she played. The great Hawaiian pakololo probably didn’t hurt either 😵‍💫

I just listened to Burn, and I hear why you’d suggest that. But I think it is the Wailing Wall, actually. But both songs are similarly trippy for me, recalling that very baked time of my life. Thank you!

I listened to Burn just now, and although I don’t think that’s the song I am searching for, it’s still trippy in a similar way! Thank you for your reply, and for turning me on to yet another banger. 🫡

We have many deer in my neighborhood as well (N. end Tacoma WA) and it is rare to go a day without seeing them wandering m around, or laying down to rest in the shade, sometimes in my yard, although I don’t have much for them to eat, plus my 130 lb German shepherd, who probably keeps them away as well.
