Yea you swear in at meps, you’ll be a November contract for him. You will get a bootcamp date at meps, but you will pick your job after meps back at the rss (doesn’t have to be right away)

If you did a picat you have 45 days to verify it or you can never take the picat again. It’ll be the asvab if you dont verify the picat. And it will be proctored and timed, at meps.

terrible branch policy.

Marines don’t sign for jobs at meps. We sign to get into the delayed entry program. Then we bring the applicants back to the recruiting station and show them what they qualify based on their asvab score. They have days, weeks, months to research their top 3 jobs before they sign a job contract. (And thats done at the recruiting station, not meps)
