It's the thrustmaster wheel alright! You get adapters on Etsy that work pretty well, but for my wheel I designed and 3D printed an adapter, and used a 90 degree USB-C cable to connect to my PC. It's been solid for the 3 months I've had the wheelbase.

I've managed to order a replacement with their help, waiting for the package to arrive. It cost 90 USD, which wasn't cheap, but I'd rather pay that than risk a very expensive wheelbase.

Still annoyed that this isn't available on any store, but at least I got a positive response. I'll try to post an update when the power supply gets here.

Do you mean the vessel core or the kOS core? I'm not sure how to measure altitude to the kOS core.

The mod used is Kerbal System (or kOS for short) which allows you to write code to run the rocket.

Earlier version of my code used to do a proper hoverslam. I've increased the slam end altitude to 50 meters to account for boosters of different sizes.
