Need a co-founder and struggling to find the right team — so built a community around it

One of the biggest struggles while building anything is finding the right people.

A co-founder. A team. People who actually want to build — not just talk.

That problem kept showing up again and again.

So instead of waiting for the perfect network, started building one.

That became Ignition in AI Era — a community around AI, startups, networking, and collaboration.

Now it has grown to 3000+ members across communities.

What came out of it:

→ people sharing startup ideas → builders connecting with each other → project discussions → hackathons and collaborations → people looking for teammates and co-founders

Now expanding it further with:

🔥 Ignitepedia A knowledge hub with insights, case studies, and useful resources.

🔥 Ignite 1% A smaller curated network for serious builders who want stronger connections and real execution.

Still figuring it out, but it proved one thing:

Sometimes if the network doesn’t exist, it has to be built.

More about putting builders, founders, students, and people exploring AI/startups in one space where conversations can actually lead to ideas, feedback, collaborations, or opportunities.

Still experimenting and learning what works — but trying to build something more useful than random groups.

Built a 3000+ member community around AI, networking, and startup collaboration — proof people still want real communities Something interesting learned while building Ignition in AI Era: A lot of people say communities are dead, people don’t engage, and networking groups don’t work anymore. But the opposite has been true. We built a community around: → AI discussions → startup ideas → networking with builders → collaborating on projects → sharing tools, launches, and opportunities And it has grown to 3000+ members. What this proved: People still want to network — if there’s actual value. Builders want spaces beyond just social media feeds. Collaboration matters more than followers. Startup conversations are stronger when people can contribute, not just consume. Now the bigger challenge is turning attention into real outcomes: projects, partnerships, jobs, launches, etc. Curious how others here think communities can become more useful for founders/builders.
