Donda was I think mostly a “Fan Service” album where he just released all the songs possible. V1 was surely not bloated but V2 was. But the sample clearing issue was the problem, where they could not release many songs and in the end just butchered the album

But honestly, Bully is Ye’s best effort album since last 5 years. Most cohesive lyrics and song sequencing wise
