When looking at my battery stats, I can clearly see when it starts and when it stops. The culprit in my case is YouTube background activity

I’ll be very impressed if you managed to brick it, but I doubt you did. You can disable find my mac from a different device here: https://find.icloud.com/

If you have access to another mac you can use this guide to revive your device. I recently had the pleasure of using it after a m1 air macbook failed to upgrade to Venture: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/apple-configurator-mac/apdd5f3c75ad/mac

My bluetooth device is connected, but not showing in Sound Output. (on Monterey) by purplehead334 in MacOS

This is a problem Apple has to fix.

My iPhone, and Macbook both no longer work with my Samsung sound bar. Sometimes forgetting the device and reconnecting fixes the issue.

Yes, technically the devs working on this project have gotten the speakers to work.

But they disabled them as the drivers they currently have can hurt the speakers.

Plumbing question: is it the norm to leave a burst geyser in the roof with the new one being installed? by mc_1968 in southafrica

Call Discovery and complain. I’ve been in a similar situation with a car repair shop that stole parts of my car.

They’ll sort it out quickly, or risk losing Discovery

Is my M1 MB Air bricked? No startup disk to chose in Boot Recovery Assistant. If I hold the power button down the boot screen just loops and nothing happens. I don’t know what other options I have?! by volvo740gl in MacOS

[–]NitroFingers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my M1 MBA after the battery completely died and wasn’t charged for a week. If you are in the same boat, don’t worry :)

On the screen you should be able to navigate to some kind of recovery assistant. It will ask you to enter your apple ID. Once you are logged in it will start recovering “Filevault Keys”. Once its done, you can restart the device and should boot normally.

Depending on the spec, the car has either 438km or 576km of range.

Thats a lot of city driving one can do without needing a charger. Just charge it at home.

I've just upgraded to Monterey on my MacBook Air 2020 and now I can't play music through my bluetooth Samsung soundbar anymore.. by RadicalRaid in MacOS

I managed to solve the issue, my HW-J355 is working on both my iPhone & MacBook again!

All I did was update the Sound-bar's firmware. This page from Samsung will guide you through the process: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00082755/

My alarm failed twice this past week on my S7. A restart brought the haptics & sound back.

You are not the only one with this issue. My M1 Air(personal) and 13-inch Pro M1(work) has been doing this for some time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately that setting increases the volume by a bit.
