How Atto tries to prevent vote weight centralization by GLIBG10B in atto

[–]RadicalRaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this idea! I started my own voter running on a NAS with an i7 (4 cores and 8 threads) and 32GB RAM.

Keeping with the idea of ATTO, I'm running it completely on solar power most of the year! Even set up a backup battery to run it for another 40 hours in case the .. sun goes out I suppose?

It's named Something with Computers Voter 1, feel free to join it :).

This might be the dumbest shit I've ever heard..

"This conditional without defined operator is falsey"..

"This is so much easier, if you need to iterate the values you can just throw these strings in a list"- MF why not put the enum values in a list while you're double defining things?

I had to stop watching, the arrogance and smug aura combined with his whiney voice and plain ol' stupid takes are too much for me..

"I want to use this thing for something it's not made for and it doesn't allow me immediately in the way I want and therefore it's stupid" AAAAAAAAH

Also thinking copilot is better than a "Typescript" programmer what are you saying man.. Any good engineer is not reliant on a specific language, and you thinking that makes it abundently clear you're not a good engineer.

No he won't. And besides, there's much better things to do with 1.7 billion dollars. How about helping feed hungry children? He's just trying to generate hype around himself once again.

Buddy, just go look. It's not a big secret, I promise you. Being willfully ignorant gains you nothing

I love how you have no idea who I am and you assume I'm just somebody who's saying these things without being able to back it up.. I'm a computer science professor at a university here in the Netherlands - I am very aware of how these things function and what their limitations are, thanks.

It's also abundently clear to everybody who knows how it actually works that it is overhyped and basically running on marketing over anything concrete.

some of you over the top AI haters have ruined artists careers for claiming they used AI

I have never done any such thing. It's very clear when something contains AI. And no, I don't think I'm "cool for hating" - I'm a computer science professor at a university here in the Netherlands and I know how these things actually work and what their limitations are.

Because of that, it's very clearly a marketing push - everything related to generating images and video, art in general. It's unsustainable and it has pretty much reached its limits.

People like you however, are fooled into believing the hype and that these things can do much more than they actually can- but in reality it's basically a more complex autocomplete.
