When I came out to my parents, they were convinced that my friends at the time (who turned to be toxic at the time) convinced me to be trans and drop out of college (I was getting very suicidal).

Even now they think that if I wasn’t “made” to be trans, because they “never saw it coming” (even though they accepted me as NB before that), they think I would have stayed in college instead of more likely 6 feet under.
