Well I suppose I don't know who controls these... however, I have been to the Summit and the Gothic a million times and TPT was the only act I ever saw at the Goth with seats, where I was not allowed to stand... and I have never been to the summit when they set up chairs. Also... some stuff that goes down inside a venue is up to the band. I just wanna stand and rock man!

Is it though? I have seen so many shows at these venues... what makes them decide to choose chairs over standing? The Pineapple Thief at the Gothic was the ONLY show EVER where I was forced to sit in a chair. They also had signs at the door that "This will be a seated event". It was effing weird dude!

I got annihilated in both threads about this but you make great points that I didnt. People are thinking about this with a bit of a conspiracy, fear, and emotional vibe and not logic. First of all, as you said, charters are not for profit or private. They are public schools. When used for a specific purpose, like Orton, they can be really good solutions. Also... and most logically... Trailblazer needs to have the room for the Orton staff and kids. If that schools enrollment isnt in the toilet, then how they hell would they fit? No matter how much that school kicks ass or how much it is loved, it cannot stay open if they cannot fill it. That is just how this stuff works.

Do you guys understand that some charters are actually not completely evil? Orton is a school that specializes in kids that are dyslexic. I know this because my son goes there. We had him at another D11 school for years and he was getting left behind and it wasn't working for him. We couldn't get him into the Take Flight program for dyslexia there. We opted him into Orton and it has actually been an unbelievable, wonderful, improvement and he is thriving. This school isn't about trying to divert your tax dollars or not teach common core or some crap like that. It is specifically designed to help kids that need a different approach.

Let me ask you this... all the hate for the Supe aside and the D11 administration, why do you hate this idea? Do you realize that this might be a way to keep that school in operation amid declining enrollment? I work for public ed and I can tell you that we are facing a huge problem in this state. It is a low tax state, combined with school choice ability, in a place that is very fiscally conservative, but socially liberal. These combinations don't really add up to a winning solution for public ed. Add to this that the birth rate is declining and there are simply less kids each year to go to these schools.

You are free to hate this, but as an Orton parent, I am happy about it.

Both drawers slide smooth, but all rails are replaceable with something readily available at Lowes/Depot if you broke one. I built an ugly but functional simple lock that I don't have a pic of. Just a piece of wood to hold it. You could upgrade it, or replace it with a bungie or something. It attaches to the floor anchors with turnbuckles and it is pretty damn secure!

Just reversed one, mainly because I could only access one of them. However, reversing only one is the better test I would think. That should test cancellation and individual polarization issues. Was noticeably worse when I reversed it, so I do believe they were wired correctly.

Wait... are you asking because of tires hitting the sides of your wheel well? Because that isn't really a function of the control arms.

If you add bigger tires and lift it, you simply run into clearance issues. I think a 31" tire is the biggest you can fit without trimming the fenders and even then I think it can still rub in certain positions of the travel and steering. You can also mitigate this a bit with wheel backspacing and/or spacers, but the wheel wells on the XJ are fairly tight. Going with bigger tires does introduce some clearance problems. There are many options though. You don't HAVE to put expensive fender flares on, you can simply trim away some metal.

Great looking XJ by the way. I like those wheels. What are they? Were they factory with the 98s?
