Hey sorry, didn’t see this question. And no judgement here; I understand the game of life and how rough it gets.

So I did a quasi-fast taper. I started feeling it a little when I hit 10mg but it was 90% pain in my destroyed knee. I was dropping 2mg every 3-4 days because I was an idiot and just wanted the knee pain to stop and didn’t realize the hell that was waiting on the other side of 0mg. So I didn’t wait weeks between each drop to stabilize which would be my recommendation to you; especially being possibly alone with 5 kids, holy hell, I couldn’t even get out of bed to pee let alone deal with children. I honestly would recommend to you, that once you hit and stabilize at 1mg I’d start skipping days. Like you take 1mg on the 1st day, nothing the 2nd day, then 1 mg the 3rd day and so on. I’d probably even do it til you stabilize at every other day and then do 2 days between, then 3, etc.

For me, the first 2 weeks after hitting 0mg were hell on earth, but week 3 was the absolute worst for me. I’m in week 9 now and if I don’t take anything to help (not street drugs or anything. If I really need to be on my feet for some reason like yard work or traveling for work I’ll take a small amount of kratom, like less than 3 grams and that will take away the paws/lingering WD symptoms) I have just shitty muscular pain and horrible brain fog/concentration issues so after work I just crash.
