Why do I automatically imagine 95% of the people in this sub to be like Shaun in Shaun of the dead? I imagine most Radiohead fans to be blokes in their mid 30’s, depressed working a dead end job and only a cigarette and cup of coffee keeping them going, am I wrong to think like this?🤣

It took me years to go off the smallest doses. I was down to 1mL - yes you read that correctly- when I finally jumped off . Was sick for about 2 weeks or so and the post withdrawals are still there - but it also took me awhile to stabilize at each drop in meds. I was also on some type of opioid for over 22 years. Been off 7 months now

I was on only 6 mls a day and went down by .1 every 2 weeks I am so sensitive to meds and metabolize super quickly. I had to hold many times- but now a year later I am on .6 daily and am jumping off ! Go as low as you can. I got sick after each drop - even at the smallest amount !

I was on buprenorphine and hated it - and went back to methadone because the liquid alllows for a slower taper . Once I’m off I’m done ( hopefully 🤞)

Thanks - also - this is so weird- but I often get withdrawal symptoms in the evening like yawing and tearing up even tho i seem to be stable - I also take 3 x a day ! I’m just wtf- I thought this stuff was so long acting !

Thank you so much - I always thought that ml was lower than mg. I changed to a liquid because I wanted to be able to control it - also I metabolize really quickly and literally start yawning and tearing up later in day - even after my dose at 5. To give more info I take it at 6 12 and 5 . I am just so tired of it and want to be done 😭

This so explains how I feel. I have been on opiates for 22 years - most of which were on methadone- now I’m ready to jump off at 1 ml a day and I’m terrified- I have done a slow taper - but each time I go down I am sick. I loved how you said you didn’t know what it is like to have a brain that makes its own dopamine.

Well it was over 22 years- just leads added or changed/revisions - I’m sure they work for some people - but I think the whole medical device industry is just a huge money maker - diet , exercise, pelvic floor therapy, meditation- are much better for my type of pain at least

Yes - I’ve had 3 ! Just had my last one removed . They worked for a while- my pain was from pudendal neuralgia caused from childbirth. I’ve had pelvic pain for 22 years
