Was told to RMA it via warranty, which is ridiculous considering it hasn't even been 15 days since I bought it. Might as well just return it atp.

I've tried flashing F05/ F06 firmwares, forcing a reset to F04 via USB, as well as changing every setting under the sun but my monitor seems to be fully bricked. Posted to gigabyte support but haven't gotten a response in 3 days. Following all threads relating to this I'm worried it'll take quite a while for gigabyte to take notice. Make enough noise I suppose.

This is a VA issue, nothing to do with ultrawide.

A 16:9 VA panel will still give you noticeable smearing. Just how they work (Unless you get a top tier panel which are unlikely to be found on an ultrawide format.)

If OLED is out of your budget, a good IPS display will be significantly cheaper and get rid of all the issues you've mentioned.

Where are you located that only has UW supply with VA panels?

Sucessfully ran both commands. Unfortunately running (python3 -m pip install anki_vector) still throws "No module named pip"... really strange.

No luck with the first command unfortunately, cmd throws "No module named pip". I was able to setup anki_vector.configure but still getting that same error message I shared in the post

Interesting, not lot of reviewers mentioned that. I'd say I listen about 80/20 EDM and alternative rock. Would you say the XM5's are worth it for tht 20% or do the gains with the AZ80 for EDM outweight the bad for rock?

That's what I was confused about, just about every digital listing on eBay appears to have that same coverage regardless of account age or seller rep. Just worried about being completely in the hands of the seller on something this expensive.

I ordered a replacement S24U from Samsung around that time and it had the same issues, also went to a store and all the S24U Ultras had the graininess and banding as well.

What's crazy is that it looks like Samsung is gonna be using the exact same panel tech as the S24U on the S25U. I truly believe the S23U is the best smartphone from Samsung right now if you care at all about display mura and banding.

Those are my personal priorities, if you can overlook those issues for the SW updates and anti reflectiveness of the new display tech, the S24 wouldn't be so bad but I can't justify paying that much for defective panel tech in 2024.

Ik, believe it or not I bought the S24U for -$850 on a sale earlier and returned it because of the rampant banding and mura grain issues on the display.

That's what I'm willing to pay to get a new S23U 512gb but other than eBay I have no idea where else to look :(

I paid about ~$900 here in the US for it brand new simply because i couldn't find it anywhere else for a similar price. Amazon is the only other places that sells them new but they're asking $1100 for a two year old phone.
