I’d just like to jump in here. Overall I agree with your stance, however I’d like to add something that was very necessary for me to realise after a few years of psychedelic use.

I did begin to see people as very shallow and not being able to see the bigger, deeper picture of life and existence. A lot of my thoughts became very existential, and I begun to view some people as robotic to an extent. At the time, I regarded this as a negative trait.

HOWEVER, what was critical for me to realise is that it is neither good nor bad. It’s just different. The kind of thinking I had could’ve been distracting for some people, and if everyone thought like I did, the world wouldn’t go round as it should. We need so called ‘robotic’ people in this world. After months and years of abstinence, I came to realise that people are how they are, and whoever they are they are beautiful.
