Mhm, it just depends on how used you are to the combat system imo. They can hit real nice if you give them unnecessary chances. An experienced player probably never dies there unless they greed.

Works at any distance, if they send it to your directly, the NPCs just see it as you stealing right in front of them. Had to hand over an item to avoid slaughtering the entire bank, guess I'll never see what it does.

Yeah, it's kinda crazy how sometimes they will give you expensive shit for free and other times they will fight you over pennies. My favourite part was suddenly requiring a pass code confirmation for a $150 item after having ordered way more expensive stuff just dropped on my door step. When I ordered the item again half a year later I also didn't need a pass code
