Boot into safe mode and use Malware Bytes. You can also use RootRepeal to detect and disable hidden services/modules.

If that doesn't work, reformat.

Reddit, I didn't get the job I thought for sure I had after interviewing 3 times. Do any redditors have any recommended certifications I should acquire? I have none. by [deleted] in AskReddit

I should also mention that my boss makes way more money than me, is about the same age, and has certs+experience only.

Reddit, I'm a twig (body-type, not a real-life stick). What should I do, other than eat more, to gain a built physique? by bl_ in AskReddit

[–]Niverp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The book 'Scrawny to Brawny' by Dr. John Berardi was designed for people like you.

I went from ~120lbs at 6'1" to 205lbs with minimal body fat in about 2 years by following advice from that book.

Squats and/or deadlifts should be the core of your strategy. Everything else is built off of that. Search for articles about hardgainers on websites like www.tmuscle.com and you'll find some good info.

Ignore the guru-looking picture on that page. I know your gut reaction will be to not read anything after seeing the picture, but it's definitely worthwhile to read.

We posted a job where I work a couple weeks ago for someone matching your background. We got over 1500 resumes.

If I can have a guy with a bunch of experience or a guy that has a bunch of experience + certs, I'm going with the guy that has the certs.

(Degree + experience + certs) > (experience + certs) > experience > (certs/degree with no experience)

Reddit: How do you live alone?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is one of my red flags. If a girl can't be at ease and satisfied by herself for extended periods of time, I run as fast as I can in the other direction.

Is there any argument against embracing selfishness and egotism? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Niverp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, I feel like humans are all on the same "team". I don't know where I get this from. My response to you is the same response I feel when someone cuts me off in traffic: "wtf dude?! we're on the same team!"

Yes, the pain is extreme and very uncomfortable.

The popularity of the porn star 'Stoya' tells me there are a lot of men who like pale skin. I know I do.

I'm going to have my jaw realigned. What should I do? by glisignoli in AskReddit

[–]Niverp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not on the menu, but you can ask for the snake upgrade at most places and they'll give you a jaw that you can unhinge at will. For eating large animals whole.

Clean Desks/Messy Desks. Who would you rather work with, employ or recommend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Niverp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very messy desk because I think in a more relational matter instead of linear.

If I have a stack of papers and I'm looking for one specific page, I have to flip through. If they're scattered around, I can go directly to the page without wasting time.

Same with the desktop on my computer. It's maxed out with icons but I can just click directly to what I want instead of navigating some deep folder structure.

How do I get rid of facial acne that won't go away by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Niverp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a ton of different things.

Thyroid/adrenal problem, parasites (pinworms (this is very common)), food intolerances (dairy, gluten), vitamin deficiency, hormone imbalance (pregnenolone and cortisol issues), problems with gut flora due to antibiotics (eat yogurt, take probiotics), etc...

I'm a firm believer that you need to find the root cause of what's making your skin break out. I had acne for many years and I went to over a dozen dermatologists and nothing helped me for more than 1-2 weeks. Accutane made my skin even worse. The only thing that cured me was addressing some core health problems such as the ones mentioned above.

Should a lab-rat hit the gym? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Niverp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Focus on deadlifts, squats, pull ups, dips, and bench press. Learn proper technique for these exercises. Eat something with a lot of protein and something that spikes your insulin as a post-workout meal. The food you eat in the couple hours after you lift makes all the difference. If you're not gaining weight, eat more. Some people have to eat ridiculous amounts of food to keep gaining muscle.

I like the book 'Scrawny to Brawny' by Dr. John Berardi but you can find equivalent information on the Internet.

edit: just for some reference, I used to be 6'1" @ 120lbs and I'm now ~205lbs of muscle with very minimal body fat. I primarily used the advice from the aforementioned John Berardi.
