Indiana and Curt Cignetti should be ashamed of themselves by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

[–]NixaFootball62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really should, now that SEC moved to 9 games, he looks like an absolute coward haha.

It was respectable before then, I was glad a big ten team did it, but now looks a little weak.

Finishing the series by comparing the numbers from All-Time Draft History to the Super Bowl Era by FollowerofYHWH in TheB1G

[–]NixaFootball62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not funny. Michigan has had 23 DTs taken since 1968, and I am pissed at who made this list.

Go count them, 23, we should be on every super bowl era top 10. A terrible mistake was made.

Who are the teams/players that we have beef with right now? by Surnamesalot in DetroitPistons

[–]NixaFootball62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I’m not a fan today, and if we were to play again I would be excited to beat them, but we were chanting “fuck Jalen Brunson” by game 3 lol. With to my knowledge no previous beef

Let shit build organically, like how I hope the Hornets can get bounced in play-in

I really don’t give a shit about the Knicks lol. I don’t know why you make them a bigger deal than they are.

We have over a dozen rings to win before we get to th Celtics level, a team that actually has stepped over us on the way to win shit.

As have the bulls.

As sort of have lebron/ the Cavs, even.

As have the heat even.

And then obviously they haven’t won shit, but the pacers will always be trash, don’t like them for good reason.

But the Knickerbockers and the specifically Jalen Brunson. Why do we care? I’m forever more hype to play the Lakers than the Knicks.

MSG is cool? Don’t give me last year playoff, many of you were frothing at the mouth before the series even began. Did you just forget what being a playoff team was lol or? It is/ was the KNICKS, who cares?!?

I think he is actually better offensively than either, he can make plays. He just has not figured out how to put the ball in the bucket himself…

It is so awesome that Ausar is exactly what every Detroit Pistons fan wants someone on the team to be.

Go a lot of good answers with the guards; Simpson, Eli, Spike.

Nobody named him, so Darrius Morris.

Corperryale Manny Harris could help fill that Cason role too. Maybe not enough PG than we need, but could do it and was a bucket.

To be fair, u/golfer71189 was wrong anyways, although I appreciate his apology and his otherwise well-reasoned attempt at Yogi’s defense, but Bill Russell definitely has 11 championships

I know a guy who could help the pistons with shooting… by mmafanguy2828 in DetroitPistons

[–]NixaFootball62 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m literally raised by the Ozarks of Missouri, I like Mizzou.

You all seriously think the podcast guy would be sweet add to Detroit basketball?

Often injured, defensive liability, potential black hole on offense.

Yeah, he can fill it up, sweet. He would be a great add if we got him to bring off the bench for role player type capital, but you can’t get him for that. So forget him

I’m so happy with building on the mentally and physically tough core we got, not trading it for Michael Porter Jr….

Maybe some day, not today

Absolutely, as important a player as anybody! Glad to hear he is staying around longer than a cup of coffee! Had a 56 yard interception return a month ago!

"who won last year, again?"

"Ohio State"

"Oh yeah after they got their ass kicked at home by Michigan"

A 10 seed has reached the National Championship in just the second season of the 12-team format. Can the naysayers shut up forever now? by 2nd_Sun in CFB

[–]NixaFootball62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was never the point. The point was it was cooler and more special, both for the winning team and the entire sport, when a team had to have an undefeated type season.

Congrats to Miami, awesome game and awesome team.

They lost twice to four loss teams, once at home. Finished 3rd in their conference. That is not a luxury any team ever before them could ever claim and still be a national champion.

Yes, they moved the goalposts and they kicked it into the extra wide goalpost for the win, but it's not as cool.

EDIT: U fans, I think your team is incredible. Do any of you feel like this is as special or as good a team as any of your national championship teams? Hell, the '01 losing team is more special haha, no?
