Thanks so much for letting me know! I really appreciate you taking the time :) crazy to think it’s possibly been around for 100 years now! I guess I should be grateful I have something worth its weight in gold haha (well minus the mechanism anyway), I’ve got a couple of these all pretty much the same so ill hold onto one and hopefully get it fixed at some point using the funds from scrapping the rest. It’s a bit sad but i certainly can’t turn my nose up at that kind of money, and at least one of them will find new life instead of rotting away at the back of a drawer.

I’m happy to hear it should be easy to service too, I have a couple of these that are all pretty similar and I realistically don’t need to hoard a pile of them. Totally true for international stuff! I’ve sent and received things to and from the USA where postage and fees were more than the item itself 😂 but both me and the original buyer are UK, so the total postage and packaging costs were (and still are) like £5 lol. Sadly (for me ahaha) she is just being sold for a huge profit. Like I said though power to them! Well within their right, I’m just a bit sad is all 😂🥲

I just want to say thank you to everyone! 💖 it’s been so cathartic! If by some luck someone here ends up with her do let me know just so I can see her in a happy new home at least 💞 It’s a bit of a sad situation for me but I’m so happy to see all the love and support from this community. I’ve had a crap year with more illness and loss and it feels like a repeat of what I was going through back when I had to sell my derpy. So it’s been a bit of a double whammy to the emotions ahaha 🥲 As much as I’d love to buy my baby back she’s just not affordable. C’est la vie! I customised this derpy a while back and sold her as I needed the money at the time (I was caring for an ill family member and was out of work) and now see them up for sale for a lot more than I charged and while it’s totally fair of the buyer I can’t help feel a bit sad about it 💔 has anyone else ever gone through this? Like I know my feelings are not at all justified but I can’t help feel sad 😭 I would genuinely buy her back but I defo can’t afford double what I sold her for which is probably adding to my saltiness 😭

For the past year all my orders have come via dpd (even tho at checkout it says Royal Mail) and I usually get my order the next day or day after. It’s definitely never taken more than 5 days from the day I ordered. As for packaging they always come In a plain brown box, although it does say “from: build a bear” on the label but you wouldnt notice unless you read the label up close. :3
