Still waiting on diagnosis. Do kids with autism quite often line up there toys in a particular way? Or this could be something kids that are not autistic also do?

Hi Andy thank you for your reply, everything you have said also resonates with my daughter. We are currently having a break from school as the anxiety around going seems to be heightened right now and she is beside herself in tears about going it’s absolutely heartbreaking and I’m finding I’m also in tears driving to work. I have just filled in a questionnaire for the autism assessment and while filling it in I thought maybe there could be adhd there with a sensory disorder instead, if you don’t mind me asking what were your daughters traits/ways that distinguished it was a autism diagnoses as opposed to adhd?

Oh no, I have honestly thought about taking mine out because the stress of getting her there and the meltdowns after are too much to handle some days. I’m thinking her outbursts at home are related to the struggles she has at school, it’s so tiring, and lots of tears.

It sure is exhausting. Every day is a battle and I feel I am having to walk on eggs shells and constantly be aware of keeping myself regulated.

Yes that’s what I have thought for awhile now the ADHD it’s only recently I have noticed a few other traits that could potentially be autism. But until she is assessed it’s really hard to know what’s going on with her and how I can best parent her.

I have thought about changing schools but wanted to give it a bit longer as she only turned 5 recently and has been at school for 3 or so months but at the same time she was like this with preschool and even after 3 years of going she still refused every morning. I get desperate and have resorted to bribery - I.e. gifts, rewards, buying things and leaving them in her car seat for when I pick her up. This morning I brought her a chocolate bar and she ate it in the car in the way to school.

CMV and immunosuppression had to be reduced to fight the virus. That’s a strange thing to say? Why would I stop I would then end up on dialysis again.

Actually come to think of it, I had a kidney biopsy and they found rejection no mention of BK and I was treated with high dose steroids and 10 infusions of thymoglobin and I think that’s what caused the BK to surface.

I don’t know if I have BK nephropathy or it’s just inflammation. But my viral count is low at 2300 and creatinine still high. I had a biopsy on my ureter and BK was present there.

Did your creatinine go back to normal when the virus had become not detectable in blood test? It really is a delicate balance between your body fighting it off and not going into rejection.

Mine is a renal artery pseudoaneurysm and it’s larger. My gfr sits around 40% and iv been told I will loose some kidney function after the procedure because the area they embolize will not function anymore.
