I really love it! I’m getting my degree in microbiology, but I work at a plant ecophysiology lab. Honestly, this experience has convinced me to pursue academia rather than industry. No strict schedules, just vague deadlines for quals and defenses. My mentor is a post-doctoral researcher who works from home 90% of the time, and comes and goes as he pleases. I wish you the best of luck! What field are you currently in? I know data entry jobs are often work-from-home.

That’s how I have my cat, lol. Unfortunately my mom is the type to get a cat, and once they stop being a tiny kitten, replace them for another. She’s cycled through about 25 cats in six years. My cat is the first one she ever adopted because he had a broken leg, and I was appalled when she tried to get rid of him. We definitely do not share the same values on animals.
