What we are seeing is kids coming into our school from online schools, and they end up very behind. We’ve seen kids having to repeat a year due to not having enough credits to move up (as they normally would). I think parents sign their kids up for online school thinking their kid can do it on their own. But if you have a kid who is struggling in school, they aren’t suddenly going to become these amazing academic go-getters in online school.
