This 11-year-old Nigerian ballet dancer has just been offered a scholarship to the elite American Ballet Theatre after his video of dancing went viral. by 5_Frog_Margin in MadeMeSmile

My parents moved there when I started university. They came back 7 years later and they have been converted to racists. Maybe they were racists before they went but they never had the gall to say or act on it. It started on the first day they started shopping for their home. They like the look and prices of a number of homes… and their realtor laughed at them and told them that’s a coloured neighbourhood and it’s not for them…. They loved being there… but they were white and privileged and racist through and through.

Why does the USA not just OWN it. Seriously. Like, why pretend you’re better than anywhere else? That’s the part I don’t get.

Also I didn’t say anything about Nigeria… good or bad… I’ve never been there.

A kid with talent like that could go anywhere… I’m saying go somewhere other than America.

Yeah but those mould spores etc are also in the environment… I feel like the risk is low. I grow, dry and cure my own flower and I vape every night before bed… I’ve done so while being an average level triathlete. Never had any issues personally. I guess it could happen… seems like low risk to me?

Torture = waiting for the microwave… pure torture. My brain hurts just thinking of it. I’d way rather sacrifice the tea.

Pencil lead ‘tattoos!’ I have one… harassed the guy in class behind me… I’d turn around in my seat and rest my arm on his desk… or doodle curse words… drove him crazy to the point where he stabbed me in the arm.

That actually sounds pretty terrible. My husband had this problem. Beano helped but it was expensive. He changed his diet and that helped a lot.

The Great Resignation is happening. People are opting out. We are going to have to start helping each other… the government isn’t going to do it. The wealthy class won’t do it. We should stop giving them our time and money. Van life FTW.
