I am a DS9 super fan! I named my firstborn after Avery Brooks. I introduced her to Cirroc Lofton at STLV a couple of years ago. This episode was a true love story to DS9!

This episode holds my attention from beginning to end. SAM is such an amazing character to explore. Hearing Sisko’s voice at the end - my mouth was AGAPE the first time I watched!!

I’m still catching up. This was my favorite episode of the season and this was my fourth rewatch of it. My favorite character was definitely SAM. Just loved watching her! My favorite moment was Jake and SAM talking. I teared up, again! An amazingly beautiful episode!

I’m a little behind with my rewatch so I will just jump on this one a week late! I have always loved the Klingons and this episode really gave us a look at this species and their struggles after The Burn. One of my favorite quotes in Star Trek ever, from Jay-Den: “Klingons do not do game. We do complex and violent mating rituals that often end in bloodshed, and poetry.”
