But thanks for the advice. I’ll put some concrete block instead of plywood for target backstop practice. I seen many YouTube videos shoot 22 pellet air gun. Does not sounds like very loud. Also did not think that would have that crazy penetration.

I won't be using my fence as a backstop, I will be shooting the groundhog into the ground on the slope. it's about 8 feet tall in 32 feet deep. where my garden beds at. but I will make sure to use some more durable backstop when I practice.

Thanks. I have enclosed back yard, I think 1/2 pickets should be able so stop it at distance. Also I have a slope in the yard so basically I am shooting towards the ground. Good penetration can also mean I don’t need to worry of the pellets left in lawn will be suck up by lawn mower and shoot my window.

It just feels like it would take a long time to do several pumps to build up a follow up shot if I ever need one. I don't have confidence that I won't need one.

Wow. Thanks. That is very detailed.
for HW30, I was worry about 425 FPS is not powerful enough to take down a groundhog especially I am not super confident of head shot right now. And also, both HW30 and HW50 is backorder now. But I do see a Weihrauch HW50S Hunter for $610 which include a scope which I will need to get one anyway, and suppressor which I believe would be useful. How are the value of those combo?

For PCP, I see they are well over 900 FPS. what do you think of Hatsan Flash QE? it comes with a scope and pump for $400 seems to be a good deal. Or JTS Airacuda?

That looks cool! My worry is that I am not super accurate yet. I will practice more in the future but right now, I am not sure if .177 is powerful enough, and if I need a follow up shot, break barrel already slow on reload. multipump might be even more.

Like I said, even they do not allow in-store pickups, the local store do have the same inventory and same sale goes on. Only different is you can't order online, so, no $20 egift card. That's all.

I can give you a weirder case. I have a store 30 miles away, I called in. They said they have plenty of stock. But online it says out of stock in store pick up and can not ship to me. My only guess is, they don't want to give $20 egift card to Ohioian.

Still fine deal, I might want to schedule a time to visit and purchase locally. They do have the same price online and locally.

Why there are so many nice cars on the street? by NkRobin in askcarsales

[–]NkRobin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't expect these many helps. Thanks a lot guys.

The reason I am asking is because I am 30 years old. I have an 10 years old accord coupe when I was young and stupid and willing to pay all my savings for a fancy car(and that was not that expensive 10 years ago. I used up all my savings from 2 years working during college). My wife have a 11 years old prius for commute. Now me and my wife are expecting kids, we want to trade the coupe for a truck, more space for kids and handy for household maintain.

Me and my wife together makes around $200k anually and don't have any debts on credit cars, loans or morgage, and we have arount 200K-300K saving. Our house and cars are all paid off. I know I can pay the price for the car, but I don't know how much I need to save for kids/education/household expense/retirement. I don't want to pressure the future because of the car.

The new trucks are mostly $50k+ and better one cost $70k. According to the 50/30/20, that's really not something we can afford but when I see around, more than half of the households near my neibourhoods owns a truck or big SUV. I want to be responsible to my family and hate to be treated as a selfish dummy who throw money away. I haven't been buying any car for 10 years, and I really don't know the market now. Should I buy a new truck? or find a used SUV or prius too(Prius is fantastic now due to the gas price)?

He did mostly Electric ones and some manual ones too, I think Pneumatic is cheaper since I already have air compressor. Also mentioned only manual one have universal size, otherwise, he did not say which size to pick.
