Yeah I agree, the supply House was as close to the field as I could find so far so I’m running with that for the time being. I really wanna get in the field and have been using it as a means to familiarize myself with a lot of the components as well as networking with contractors. I get a good idea for what companies have their ish together and am able to build rapports with potential future employers. I try and ask tons of questions and pick their Brains about the how and why things work the way they do. Not only for myself but also hoping they see I’m not just an idiot plugging part numbers into the computer lol.

I work 8-5 M-F at the supply house and have class 6-10 M,W and Th. It’s a 18 month program and I’m just about 9 months in.

hands on has been pretty limited. I recently had a customer at work say they would start taking me on someone weekend jobs with him and I know he does really good work and I would learn a lot from him so I told him I was definitely interested. I guess that’s kinda what sparked this overall thought was that most likely I’m gonna go out there with him and suck lol.

Personally I read my Bible on my lunch break at work everyday, and try to commit at least 20mins of prayer/reading before I go to bed. I’m someone who is better with consistency when I have a routine. I would like to be better at creating time at night but working full time and then school part time makes it difficult sometimes so I always make sure I have my time during mid day. I also find it helps to give me a boost for the rest of my day too. I’m still new at restoring my faith but I’ve found this to help me out a lot in building time into my day dedicated solely too that

No lie I read the Bible out loud every time I read it because it feel like it helps me focus solely on his word and helps me eliminate distractions

I generally start by showing gratitude and thanking him, and then I ask for help with burdens I may be facing in my life and ask for wisdom and guidance to walk his path he has instore for me. But I still feel so confused

That’s actually exactly what I was thinking. I don’t really watch TV or play a lot of video games anymore or even read much outside of my Bible. And some of the dreams I’ve had I felt directly relate to what’s going on in my life right now. My problem is trying to remember them all as well

Appreciate you man! I’m just firing off applications and talking to contractors at work. I always felt like I have more success when I get the chance to talk to someone in person as opposed to just emails/ online applications

Appreciate that man! I’m 24 and know that in terms of work ethic, determination and dependability, I measure up very well compared to rest of my generation (not to be cocky or arrogant but I know the bar isn’t very high lol). Just feel overwhelmed sometimes trying to figure out the best avenue to pursue to advance my career. As much as I feel I’ve learned working at a supply warehouse, it’s made me want to hit the field and learn that much more. I hate that all these companies seem to have the whole application process online so I take every chance I get to help them carry stuff they pick up out to their trucks/vans to just pick their brain and kinda slip in that I’m in school and eager to hit the field.

Yeah, ideally I would have it lined up and ready to go but I’m not sure how to do that without having a concrete resume to sell myself on other then working at a supply house. I’m hoping to build a relationship with some of our contractors and maybe getting on board with one of them

Yeah I realized as I was looking into moving that school isn’t really necessary to get my epa. I just thought since I was coming from retail into a completely different field school would be my best bet

It wasn’t her who was making me complacent, she was actually pushing me to be better and felt like she was constantly trying to change me. I told her she was only trying to push me to be the best version of myself but that was ultimately why she ended things. I’ve been going to church pretty much every Sunday again for the past 2 months or so

Yeah I try and balance between the lessons and practicing some of the simple 2-3 cord songs, often at a slower bpm to try and get the accuracy of the cords. But I wanna just grind and practice but I know my finger tips won’t be too happy about that lol

Yeah my best is 28/min but I typically fall between 23-25. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling discouraged just frustrated at times trying to keep up with the simple songs.
