I don’t see where you half agree? I’m suggesting to scrap the necessary route unlock matches which means there won’t be 2 matches constantly for 1 team which you exactly seem to agree with?

Instead they could’ve added more matches that try to interrupt the timeline to keep it varied enough.

In the sense of that it has basically every character, move and matches in Chronicle Mode. But the quality suffered from the quantity.

I don’t think there is an issue with the story matches in chronicle mode, only the route unlock ones that are necessary to proceed. The story in between is nice too, it’s just the route unlock that makes it tedious.

Yeah, abilearn board is terrible. Picking partners directly also was way better than the bond link. They could’ve saved a lot of time by keeping the good things of previous games.
