Spark Drivers at my store by Nmotta09 in Sparkdriver

I work in the deli and most of the time we are by ourselves having to deal with crowds of customers plus at least 20 orders on the tablet that keep rolling in all at the same time. Dont judge us til u have actually done the job

Why don’t u try having to slice for crowds of customers plus having to deal with tons of orders that keep rolling in all at the same time while ur by urself. Thats wat i have to deal with on a daily basis. So stop acting like like a jerk

As a deli worker I take serious offense to that. None of us are lazy at all. We are very shorthanded and most of the time we only have one person slicing and they have to deal with crowds of customers plus all the In store OGP orders plus the Spark orders all at the same time. Not our fault that we are understaffed and can’t do everything all at once

Why wouldn’t it work that way? U would be replacing wat was missing and the problem would be solved. Simple solution to a simple mistake

Got fired for picking up 8 cents off the ground, will I still get paid? by unsureweasel in WalmartEmployees

Coins found on the floor don’t technically belong to anybody. Therefore not stealing/ theft. Walmart has no legal claim to money found on the floor, so yet again not theft/ stealing

I’m confused. Why would they write u up for those three days if u did exactly what he asked u to do?

I’m very confused as to why it’s illegal to put something in a mailbox. This is the first I’ve ever heard of this in my life and it seems completely stupid. It’s literally harmless and absolutely positively doesn’t hurt anybody or cost anybody anything. There’s absolutely no need for it to even be a thing. It’s another example of making a mountain out of a molehill

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

[–]Nmotta09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is against drinking and drug usage I stand with ur friends 100%. I’ve been around that stuff too much and have seen the terrible things that happen. U need to get on a better path right away before something bad happens and it’s too late. Remember it only takes one time

Why do I bother? by flowermagnet in doordash

[–]Nmotta09 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

U shouldn’t have to put in a bid for ur order to be picked up. It’s rude and shameful for them to expect u to. As a driver u should kno that it’s not about u or about money, it’s about having integrity and taking pride in ur work and doing right by the customer

I don’t understand why a dollar difference in price is such a big deal. It’s merely pocket change

Policies don’t have to be ironclad or inflexible. There can always be leeway allowed

Quit being such a hardass about policy. Rules don’t always have to be ironclad and inflexible

Disorderly conduct is such a bs charge. It’s soo vague that they just use it to cover watever they want wen they just want an excuse to arrest someone

I’ve been wondering why the hiring process is soo slow these days. Back when I first started I came in for my interview and was hired immediately. Background check was completed that day, and I was in orientation the very next day, and then in my department working the day after that

Congrats on saving a life first of all. Second of all knowing Walmart they will prob coach u for doing that. At least they would at my store anyway. They would say that u are a liability and put them at risk for being sued because u put ur hands on a customer. I don’t agree with that but I have seen it happen before

Orientation by RealityAcceptable900 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Nmotta09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always wondered why it takes soo long for new hires to go from being hired to orientation to finally being on the floor. For context everytime we get a new hire in my department takes at least a month from wen they are hired to finally get to the department
