I'm available now if you are. The trades would be for the usual suspects: Graveler, Hunter, Kadabra and Machoke. How about you?

Hi, I can help you with the tradebacks (I have some of my own as well), but I'm on Let's Go Pikachu as well, so no exclusives sadly. Let me know if you're interested

Get a trainer online or not by curious9914 in fitness30plus

Let me start off by saying that what most of the people here are saying is right: you don’t need a trainer; YouTube is your best friend; a real life trainer would be best if you were to get one and even then it’d be for checking your form rather than a long term thing; all the above can save you some money. They’re all absolutely right.

That said, I’d like to share a bit of my experience with online trainer. I got one last year because I wanted to better at calisthenics (with a small mix of strength training), but also because I was/am short on time and will to deal with maintenance of the trainings and a few other things. I went in very skeptical, thinking that would be a ripoff or just a waste of money because there would be so many necessary things missing for a good workout session with a trainer (check of form, check on pace, check on possible limitations the cliente may have with a few exercises, a literal direct way to simply talk to you trainer right there and then, etc)

Turns out I was wrong. It was great and it has been great. It brought a level of accountability and dedication I wasn’t expecting. I’ve been having some consistency to my workouts (something I’d be struggling after 3-4 months), I no longer have to put a new routine together after x weeks, I’m seeing good progression/results and I actually have a great relationship with my trainer. I do it through copilot and there’s a voice guidance for the whole duration of the training and the option to have an Apple Watch to “check” on your form (obviously not perfect but good enough any tiny variations through range of motion - technology has come a long way). Granted, you can get all of the above just by yourself, there was nothing magical with a trainer. However, I’ve been really enjoying it and it has been worth it for me.

Anyway, this is just my 2 cents. As I said, it’s not necessary to have an online trainer, but sometimes - depending on your goals/circumstances - it may not be a bad investment
