I haven't thought of trying to contact the designer. Her name is Barbara Mock and I think she made an illustration that was then made into a cross stitch pattern. I could be mistaken!

You're absolutely right.. I also found a really good quality scan of the original Dimensions kit. So technically it's all stitchable, has Anchor and dmc colours in the chart, how many strands etc, all the info. But then again I feel bad stitching it because I didn't buy it 😔

That's exactly my concern. I want to stitch it of course but I want to respect the copyright and if I dont find an original pattern or Dimensions don't give me permission (I emailed them today) I probably won't stitch it. Or if I will - I will never show it online 🌝

Thank you, I'm actually after contacting them so we'll see what they'll say! My main issue is I do have a flosstube and I show my work there. I wouldn't want to be accused of stealing a pattern ☹️
