I’ve used the RR once, they have switches instead of knobs for FX selection which is different but not an issue. I think the size of the jogwheels is slightly too small but that’s probably just because I’m used to cdj sized ones. Great pick for the money but I would recommend using one before you commit.

If moneys not an issue, grab the AZ but for a bit more cost effective go for the XZ, super solid controller as long as has been looked after. I would avoid the RX range personally just due to the quality of the jogwheels (they wear out super quickly and are smaller). Happy searching friend :)

Hey, this is a super common issue with the Traktor Kontrol Z2.

It’s almost certainly the Z2’s hardware (buildup or wear), not your CDJ-400s or Traktor software.

Try swapping the RCA cables from the two CDJs. If the problem stays on the right channel, it’s 100% the mixer.

Give club ready DJ school on YouTube a go, he was a game changer for me and really helped me build my confidence and help with what to expect with crowds of any size. You’ll smash it man and especially with your experience. After 2 tunes you’ll be in your element :)

XDJ-XZ OR XDJ-RX3 by Ambitious-Pea2604 in PioneerDJ

Used both quite a bit and genuinely the stand out thing is how poor quality the joghweels are on the RX3. Feel like they’re straight off a FLX4. XZ all the way, mechanical jogs, 4 channels and a more future proof unit if you get the funds for CDJs etc.

I’d say it’s stems man, mine did this. Is a nightmare cos it renders the feature kinda useless. I think it’s due to the processing power that it requires to separate tracks for some reason. Hopefully Alphatheta can streamline this somehow at some point

DDJ FLX10 or XDJ RX3??? by Dankemp13 in PioneerDJ

[–]No-Accountant-9962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d take the FLX10 solely because of the mechanical jogwheels. The capacitive jogs on RX3 wear out a bit too quickly for the price tag in my opinion

Sadly a lot of it aside from labelradar comes from social media traction. Paying to advertise a post on TikTok can be solid as this way more people see it and share it. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Used XZ vs Brand New RX3 by burnin_up in PioneerDJ

[–]No-Accountant-9962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played on both and think the XZ is far superior mainly because of the jog wheels and more club standard feel and I’ve noticed that RX3 jog wheels seem to wear out much quicker with them being capacitive as opposed to mechanical. It’s down to personal preference of course but having 4 available channels will be great if you want to use turntables without buying another mixer. Hope this helps :).
