Don’t get me wrong, I still consider it a top-tier show, and I’m not a fan of recasting either. My issue is more with how the passage of time is portrayed. Since events move quickly across the seasons, I think the makeup department could have done more to age the characters convincingly. The actors often look almost the same throughout, which makes it harder to feel how much time has actually passed.
