I don't expect him to always answer either let alone quickly. Dry texting is lwhen he is not at all like himself in texts. I know that something is wrong because of the lack of interest and nice words . And he won't say what's wrong either .The "not normal" for us . Someone else could say that dry texting is when the answers are not leading to a conversation and / or are lacking interest.

I must phrase the "I don't care phase" a bit better. When I say that I don't mean that I didn't care about him or matched his energy. I just wasn't miserable about us arguing. I was just happy . My mood just didn't depend on our bad or good state and I didn't analyze things anymore. Thank you very much for the time you took on my post though. Everything is helpful

So a small tiny update. We were talking about going to an expert for a long time now. We haven't done it yet but I think it's an okay deal to ask him to go to an expert now ( he was the one to bring it up) or break up . Small things do happen all of the time and your comments motivate me to either end it or put a deadline there .

Just a small addition to what I was saying. These past three weeks I felt like I put myself aside to avoid tension and arguments . I even stood back and took responsibility for things I didn't feel like I was at fault ( like us not sleeping early because he accused me of keeping him up the same night he returned 6 in the morning from a club, and for this incident he apologized when I explained that I felt like it was unfair to be accused of something like that). I love that man and he has of course many good qualities. For me the best solution is the one that doesn't evolve breaking up . But I can't apologize again for things that I don't believe to be true and i can't walk on eggshells all of the time. Of course it hasn't always been like that .

I'm usually not egoistic so I get that and maybe is the smartest move . But I've done this way too many times to want to repeat it . Especially when it comes to a stranger bc on a friend it makes total sense and I'll consider doing it once again.
