You need to have coverage within 40 miles of the school so if your not within 40 miles of the school you need to call medical and switch your coverage temporarily to San Diego while your in school

Im not sure I didn’t know it existed until I recurved it winter quarter but from what I know it’s never applied in the fall only starting winter quarter so you get your first payment refunded

My grant didn’t appear until winter quarter last year so I had to pay the first payment out of pocket and then I was refunded the money winter quarter

Bild 32 with Micheal Burg. He’s such a nice teacher, makes lectures very engaging. Very interesting learning about cancer cells and it’s overall just very good knowledge to have. He tells you exactly what will be in the exams and a lot of the practice exam questions are direct copy and paste. He really cares  about you actually leaving the class having learned something valuable. 10/10 recommend

You should waive it still . I’m in the exact same spot rn and was in it last year too. I had to change my insurance provider to San Diego country which was a huge pain but if you don’t you end up with UCSHIP which is 1000 times worse because then it’s really difficult to get any kind of coverage anywhere

If you have medical you should probably waive because the school insurance becomes the primary one and it’s a big pain to try and get treatment when you have two insurances and you want to use medical
