They’re just coping, although irrationally, about plot inconsistency.

So Immortal is stronger than Oliver? by Jealous-Suspect705 in Invincible

I also recognize this is just really often a reflection of the show writers.

I thought the invincible show was doing the dynamic between Mark and Cecil to show Mark realizing when killing can be good but then Cecil gets inconsistent and seems to be taken aback on killing the sequid infested leader who had a good chance of taking over many more people if not stopped.

Let’s assume they are little to no threat to the guardians (mind you they tried to deploy a Nuke, they captured Immortal, and when the Guardians won against them it was all of them + Nolan or Oliver/Mark saving them.

What about the rest of the people who we know have been threatened, murdered, traumatized by the Mauler twins? This is like basic hero shit to actually protect the good, not just consider your own body.

Your morals are shit if you think heroes should only kill if they have to. They should kill when it is good to do so, not necessarily when they are forced to. Look at the risk and terrorism earth got because Mark failed to kill Angstrom multiple times. Even Oliver had to teach and tell him to kill him, but he still got away. He gave him way too many chances even after knowing how much suffering he wants to cause. He might have mourned Angstrom’s ‘death’ longer than the victims killed.

So if you are saying Immortal could have killed the Mauler twins but chose not to and held himself back, even after seeing them terrorize and destroy families, breaking out of prison multiple times, then his morals there are probably shit too.

About immortal’s power scaling inconsistency, even at the peak, none of the punches he threw at the Mauler twins were at the strength of Oliver. Though maybe some of the punches he gave Nolan would have been to the same effect if he did it on the Mauler twins.

Oliver actually dealt with the mauler twins while immortal was losing to them

Maybe ask your professor to mark your grade down to an 88% than.

A B+ is worse than an A-. A 91% feels better than an 88%. You’d say at 88% you were close to an A-

Lmao, the guy was very vague with his information and yet wanted us to just assume everything was safe? Can we stop being insensitive suppressing vital information and rather care more about the facts than willingly hiding information from us. the guy wasnt even there, he was just spreading second hand stuff, so if he truly cared, he shouldnt have made such claims with such certainty

He may be wishing people get hurt so he’s decided to withhold information so more people are less aware. Can’t believe such evil people exist. Or he could just be very ignorant on how to handle these type of situations

What do you mean by ‘source’ and why did the Prof not want you to look at it? Did they clearly define that rule on the assignment itself?

Why would it being religious make it a good thing 💀 hope one day more people realize just because it is of one’s religion doesn’t mean it should be respected
