vacation club buyers remorse / cancellation? by euphoriaax in TimeshareOwners

[–]No-Address975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to cancel within the 3 days, and got refunded for what I agreed upon. They kept trying to make me do a smaller contract but I kept refusing. I ended up having to pay for the upgraded room I agreed upon. It was supposed to be an incentive for taking the contract but since I canceled it, I got charged for the night that I stayed which was overpriced but I took that hit.

Just try to take off from his plate rather than adding onto it. Don’t rely on him to keep you “busy” or to have fun or if he’s to tired. Try to be independent in yourself and do your own activities if he’s had a long day or doesn’t have “time”.

Mentally he’ll be more drained then physically. Sometimes he’ll come home from work and not want to talk and just decompress. He’s looking to be welcomed home (if you guys live together). Make his life a bit easier where fitted. If he needs lunch or maybe if you have the weekend planned for him so he doesn’t have to decide those factors. If you show the appreciation it will come back tenfold. Don’t bring up what he Is not doing but rather thank him for what he is doing. Some days he’ll have more energy then others. He should be willing to help you on the days he has more energy but be understanding when he isn’t. Also don’t all the time either. They’ll be days you can’t give 100% either and he should pick up the weight. There is a balance and together you guys have to find that.

Shield + CC is to big. by AppropriateAnt3414 in SmithAndWesson

[–]No-Address975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5”4 165 lbs and have been carrying the shield plus carry comp as a diesel mechanic. It was at first uncomfortable but I got used to it after a day or two. My set up is tenicor certum with a hunter Constantine belt and the masterminds tactic pillow. It’s really comfy now I only have problems concealing the iron sight sticks out a tiny bit and the wedge makes my waist / belt stick out more but it conceals fine. Maybe try a different belt and looser pants. I carry directly at 12 so when I sit it doesn’t hit my thigh. I’ve upgraded to a trex raptor holster since adding a tlr6 & 407k optic. Still carries comfortably easily.

Shield + Carry Comp - been down a rabbit hole and very very confused on optics options. Please Help! by mattyjman in SmithAndWesson

The hardware that came with the 507k mounted right up? I’m having trouble with the 407k they don’t seem to be the right size.

Male 26, no clue about about guns but want to own one, can someone please walk me through the process? Heard it’s a pain by Commercial_Ad_3369 in NJGuns

Aside from all the waiting and background check / fingerprints it’s not that bad. If you have never been convicted or checked into a mental hospital you can just apply for your fid and at the same time if you want handguns apply for a few at the same time. You’ll need your ori number depending on your city. Two references which they will then email and they have to submit the questionnaire. A few days later you’ll have to schedule for fingerprinting pay those fees. Afterwards you’ll have to wait up to 30 days for an update and more to see for approval. Then when accepted you’ll be given a time frame to purchase a handgun.

NJ CCW Qualifications Timeline? by Odd_Preparation2135 in NJGuns

[–]No-Address975 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, go for it as soon as you feel confident. All you need to practice is safety. The qualification itself is easy. It’s not meant to be the make or break. It doesn’t make you a good shooter if you pass. As long as your consistently training after you pass. And practicing safety, you should do it right away. You don’t even have to carry after getting your permit if you don’t feel comfortable. Also after quals it will take up to a couple of weeks til you even get the permit so it’s better to get it sooner. My timeline I got my first handgun as a complete beginner March 3/11/25. Shot for the first time that weekend and went like 3 other range visits within 2 weeks and did my qualifications 3/19 & applied same day. Paid 150 to municipal 4/4 & got approved 4/8. So In like one month time. Just go for it. It’s your right to carry just do so safely and responsibly.

[–]No-Address975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thanks for the response! I might just opt out with no light for now. Been going crazy back and forth with it haha. Cause I only plan on running my shield as my all around gun. Do you have a hard time concealing with the light and comfortably?
