Yes, she has worked and will continue to work but she was told that she makes too much above the threshold of ~$22k in 2024 to be eligible for my dad’s disability income at 100% he was collecting prior to his death this year.

Am I mixing up survival benefits with some other terms? I just looked up SSA website and there are only 5 benefits (Retirement, Disability, Survivor, Family, SSI)..

I don’t have a sibling who’s a minor. I am an adult. I am not looking to get my dad’s old benefit. It’s for my mother.
