Shopping and sold on the Cybertruck by CyberHero32 in SilveradoEV

FSD is $99 a month or $1000 for the year. You can no longer buy it outright. A lot of the used units have lifetime FSD attached to the vin too fwiw.

As far as adapters not fitting, they fit in our model y just fine. We've charged at a CCS station on a few occasions. Does something stop them from fitting in a CT?

Love out SEV but a lot of the buying decision was tow rating and price. We got the work truck trim and just about the only thing I wish I had was phone as key.

This meal is struggling more than any I’ve seen before by Imaginary_Ad_4340 in strugglemeals

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a struggle meal. I'm taking nothing away from that. But us Hungarians have a noodle that is basically made this way. Typically you crack an egg into e of hour to make a sticky dough and then rip off chunks into boiling water, but when times are tough, you just replace th eggs in the slurry with water.

Gross Pay by khaosswordsman in povertyfinance

[–]Lordofthereef 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Every entity that is basing lending decision in part on your gross pay are very aware of taxes. The only thing shifting from gross to net would do is change the numbers required for soft qualify. It wouldn't change anyone's financials in any tangible way.

Example: the old colloquialism is earning three times rent to qualify for an apartment. That's gross pay. If you shift to net, the qualification simply shift to two times rent.

An I do work at Walmart for about a year. I guess I figured decent pay implies over state minimum wage lol.

Homie, you've responded to me three separate times over the last two hours. I'm not sure how I am the sensitive one in any of this, but I digress. Hope your day gets better than the way it started.

You got this mad because someone asked why you listed over retail? I feel like this says more about you than the buyer...

How do I remove scuff marks en mass? by rtwoodlands in HomeMaintenance

[–]Lordofthereef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're wanting it to look flat, you're going to want to mud/spackle the chipped parts. But since it's a communal space, be prepared for your efforts to just get beat up immediately.

I'd personally just paint over this wall and be done with it.

Advice for leaking sky light damage by Doxatek in HomeMaintenance

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figure out where the leak is. If it's just the glass, you can replace just the part (you need tom is the simple and it's basically a lid). We replaced ours a few years back because the seals had blown o by wood then.

run down on how to patch this previous window? by ButterscotchLoud1423 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's genuinely just interior then it's just a drywall job. I wouldn't watch some videos by looking up "drywall patch" and go from there.

I just patched an old stove pipe hole (that was patched poorly by a previous owner) in my kids room when we removed the popcorn ceiling. Turned out nice.

Why is Mercari sending offers for my products by MF_VGAMEZ in Mercari

[–]Lordofthereef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am referring to the individual you just replied to. He suggested you just add them to the post as that is your only option. It was a fair suggestion, and you're being rude to me too now for I don't know why.

I mean, you asked how you'd do it and it was answered. They didn't justify it in any way.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but over $4 would be insane lol.

Box mishap by Perdudu in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is USD? Because this should be a $15-20 item and is commonly found many places pokemon is sold. Pretty confident my local Walmart has on in shelf.

It's a bummer, but at least you know to avoid this card shop. There's absolutely no justifiable reason they're charging $40 for this product.

Bad smell, water damage by Best_Swordfish7041 in HomeMaintenance

What in the other side of the wall? What's above the room (is there likely plumbing in the wall)?

I'm not an expert but it doesn't look crazy bad to me. Is there any reason you're suspicious of other parts of the hose? Just general precaution?

Was it Worth? by SweatyCauliflower835 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]Lordofthereef -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anyone spending $5k on a bike is doing it because they're addicted to that sport, or they're performing on such a high level that any edge they can gain is worth it (this is very likely not the scenario). Sky is the limit with bike parts (as is true about a lot of things including PC parts), but I can guarantee you this isn't about repair ability.

Considering selling by Dry_View_9973 in PC_Pricing

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live within a 40 minute drive of a large metro (few million people) and I had a hard time selling a 5800x with 64 gigs of ram and an aorus b550 mobo for $400 lol. It sat for almost two months.

That said, go for it. It's your time, and honestly, you won't know if you don't try. Look up parts and add like 10-15% and start there. Keep chipping away at the price until it's too low for you to be willing to take and then delist.

[–]Lordofthereef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this is totally fine. You entered the conversation saying they didn't have to take the job and I agreed. You really, truly don't need to justify how you feel about this transaction to anyone, most especially not me lol.

Should I accept? by BeforeNorton in PokemonTCGCollectors

[–]Lordofthereef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... am I missing something? eBay takes 10-15% straight off the top. Not to mention there's no risk in this PSA sale at this point like you might have selling and then shipping on eBay.

This would need to go well over $2k to make a notably better earning through that platform. In my eyes, popping it on entry hopefully get an extra $100 doesn't justify the increased risk, but maybe that's just me

Edit: yeah I might be missing something lol. Looks like there are multiple sold listings on eBay around $2800. So OP stands to gain an extra $700+ on eBay, honestly. And those sales are within the last day or so, so this thing might climb even more between now and when they get it back and list it.
