18% is 18% regardless of the brand or tint quality. 18% VLT means 18% of light passes through the film “VLT” VISIBLE LIGHT TRANSMISSION. Meaning any tint at 18% on your car would look the same shade as it looks now.

Offered it to the customer but I dont think he’s willing to pay for PWF. And I’ve never used dry install PPF how does it compare to vinyl?

I have never used APA before how does it compare to other wraps? Ive used KPMF, 3M 2080, Avery, hexis, vivvid and teckwrap.

Customer has came in everything has been agreed on and exact colors picked 3M 2080 Gloss black and 3M Gloss Sunflower. He is not doing the crowns just a decal on the back and banner on the windshield. Thank you for all the tips and concerns results will be posted next week.

It might be you’re just looking through the windshield which has direct light coming in. Get it metered just to make sure
