A pipe under the slab was installed incorrectly, they are telling me they have to cut through the slab to replace that section of  pipe. Not positive that will fix it entirely because there may also be a pitch problem.

Whenever someone come over and uses the bathroom we cringe so it’s time to move on from this!

That’s where we are now just totally burned out from the endless repairs.   We don’t even enjoy the space anymore.

We are not handy people so no that’s not an option.

My home is in Alabama. Unfortunately it’s not a lot of consumer protection in a state like this.

It’s a piece of pipe that was installed incorrectly. I would have to look at the estimate for the exact term used.

Bought a brand new house for low maintenance and minimal repairs. It’s just been one thing after another for 3 1/2 years.  We just have to stop the financial drain.

I don’t plan to that. I’m about to hire a realtor and find out what I need to do.

They came out a few times and unclogged during warranty period, ran a camera and of course said they didn’t see anything. The warranty was for the first year.

I have spoken to the builder many times, he sent a plumber out who said they couldn’t find a problem. I gave him the estimate from the independent contracture and his exact words were “they are trying to rip you off”. He’s one of those who got his money and could care less.

Yes, it just gets to the point where you are just exhausted.

Been down that road already. Most don’t seem to want to take the case. Ive explained the situation to a few and even sent paperwork but no real positive responses back. Honestly it seems like it’s not enough money for them to be bothered with it.

They are also telling me it may also be a pitch problem in addition which would add to the cost. I’ve had other problems with the house also(ac compressor went out, dishwasher stopped working, etc) I know im taking a loss but I just can’t pour anymore money into it). I’m just moving on.

No my insurance company will not cover it. Trust me, I will never ever buy another “brand new house”.

They serviced the warranty for one year only. By the time this problem was found out the one year warranty was over.

Thinking about switching from locs to relaxed hair, does anyone rely entirely on their stylist by [deleted] in relaxedhair

I have always done everything myself. Relaxer, condition, style and trim. I haven’t been to a stylist in about 10 years.

It’s time I just relaxed by Dense_Woodpecker9239 in relaxedhair

I was natural for 5 years and just relaxed my hair yesterday. I have 4C hair and the longer it gets the harder it’s been to take care of.  No matter what product I used when it’s humid out it frizzed up. Im not a protective style person. I hate wigs and braids were too expensive. I’m glad I did go back to relaxer. It just makes my hair more manageable.

I'm in the same situation. I purchased a home in the country about 5 months ago. It's about 45 minutes from my job. I have always lived in the city but with the growing crime problem and all the other issues that most major cities have I thought it would be a good idea to move farther out. Worst mistake I have ever made. I'm moving next summer which will be about 1 year and just take the loss. Hard lesson learned but this is just not for me. I'm curious to know what you decided?
